Welcome to My Class!
I am so excited, and look forward to the new school year!! Here is just a little information about me! I was raised right down the street, in Forsyth County and attended South Forsyth Middle and High School. I loved middle school and hope that I can help create a similar experience for you! After graduating in the top 10% of my high school, I attended The University of Georgia. I loved everything about UGA, to the point where I still live 10 miles outside of Athens. My first year of teaching was in December of 2012 at Webb Bridge Middle School as a 7th grade Language Arts teacher. I became gifted certified the following year. In August of 2014, I helped start the acceleration program at Webb Bridge by teaching the first group of 6th graders to take 7th grade LA. I taught that for two years before, returning to teach 7th graders. In August of 2018, I also took on the yearbook where I hope to help the 8th graders create a yearbook they are proud of! In 2020, I taught 8th grade ELA as well - so I officially have taught all grades here at Webb Bridge. |
Besides teaching, my passions are: art, traveling, sporting events, concerts, reading, shopping (☺️), and of course UGA! Go DAWGS!! I love spending time with my amazing husband, family, friends and of course my adorable dogs (Bailey, Louie, and Sophie). I am looking forward to hearing all about your many passions during the school year!! #ClassequalsFamily |
